FIRST® LEGO© League
Into Orbit

Tomorrow’s innovators practice imaginative thinking and teamwork. The first part of the competition is the Robotics Challenge. They must design, build and program a robot using LEGO MINDSTORMS®, then compete on a table-top playing field. The robot will score points for completing missions but the team will also be judged on the design and programming of their robot.

In the Project Challenge the team must research a real-world problem such as food safety, recycling, energy, etc., and are challenged to develop a solution.

The team will also be tested on their Core Values the heart of the First Lego League competition. This portion emphasizes discovery, teamwork and good sportsmanship.

Team Sponsorship
Help fund the teams.

Robotics are not cheap and we are always seeking for partners to invest in our teams. Our heart is to keep the cost as low as possible so home educated students can participate. To do this we need team members to help fundraise. There are numerous ways to do so, either by reaching out to local small businesses and sharing fundraisers with your friends and families.
